Summer of Growth
Since launching LW Events full-time in February, it has been a whirlwind of activity! I could not have imagined how quickly my calendar would fill up with amazing events and meetings with new potential clients and referral sources.
I’ve particularly enjoyed growing into a public speaking and thought leadership role. This platform gives me the opportunity to share my event planning expertise with a diverse array of nonprofits to help these organizations create the best possible experiences. In just the past few weeks, I had the honor of sharing my expertise at the Fundraising Leadership Academy and the Human Services Chamber.
I’ve also just completed The Determined Entrepreneur class through the WSBA. This class met every other Saturday, over the last six months, and it enabled me to really focus on the business side of LW Events. I’ve discovered that I truly enjoy business development as well as working with my clients, and it’s always good to seek professional development to ensure LW Events continues to grow so we can help as many nonprofits as possible. I was so inspired by my fellow classmates, and I look forward to seeing all of their businesses continue to grow and prosper!
Outside of speaking engagements, LW Events has completed events for the Buckeye Ranch, Charitable Healthcare Network, Huckleberry House (two!) and Mount Carmel (two!), as well as events for St. Vincent Family Services and Action for Children. We also had so much fun planning a full weekend mitzvah affair for a fabulous family — all in June! Mitzvah planning has been so fulfilling, and we’re excited to expand this arm of LW Events moving forward.
In addition, we're also working on fall events for Action for Children, the Buckeye Ranch, Design Outreach, Local Matters, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, the Social Impact Alliance, Star House and the YMCA, as well as a fall mitzvah. With so many proposals in the pipeline, it's shaping up to be a very busy summer and fall, and we’re so happy about that!
We are so excited to be partnering with Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Design Outreach on new Fall events! Spring events are also on the horizon! We’re excited to welcome our newest client, Ohio Living. In Spring 2024, LW Events will organize their Centennial Campaign Celebration. Stay tuned for details!
