Holiday Parties 101
It feels like it’s been forever since companies were able to plan holiday parties for their staff and clients, but now that we’re back in the office and fall is in full swing, it’s time to start thinking about December already! With everyone finally feeling comfortable coming together, venues, caterers and other vendors are starting to book-up for the holiday season. We recommend getting a head start on your holiday party planning now.
Here are a few tips to make the planning process easier:
1. You are not in this alone. Many companies had to make major staffing changes during the pandemic. If the person who planned your parties in the past has left the company or shifted to focus on other priorities, don’t fret! Event planners can step in to take some or all of the planning stress off of your team’s plate. Trust us, asking the experts for help is a smart move for your company because it frees you up to focus on your job!
2. Plan in advance. Holiday parties should be fun for everyone, and no one has fun when things are last-minute and rushed. First, start thinking about the big Ws: when, where and who will be invited. Then, take a look at your budget, and determine whether you need to outsource the planning. The sooner you make these decisions, the more fun the party will be!
3. Keep it simple. We know you want your party to be special, and we’re all so excited to be able to spend time together in person again, but remember that less is more. Most people are extremely busy during the holiday season. How can you make your employees and/or clients feel appreciated in an understated and genuine way? We’re full of creative ideas to help you make it clear how important your team is to you without taking up too much of their time.
Now is the time to celebrate all the incredible hard work and dedication your employees and clients have contributed during the last few difficult years. We hope you’ll partner with LW Events to make this holiday season special for you and for everyone you work with!
