LW Events is a unique event strategy/planning company for many reasons. We're a small, woman-owned business, and we’re also a social enterprise. Our core client base consists of fantastic nonprofits that serve the Columbus community in a variety of ways. What sets LW Events apart (in addition to helping our clients be more thoughtful about the attendee experience, telling their stories in a more impactful way and creating distinctive event experiences) is that we also make it a point to donate a percentage of our fee back to our clients. When corporate or social clients come to us, they also feel good knowing that they are supporting a business that gives back to the community.
When we're working with our clients, we think of ourselves as their donors as well because we are! This perspective is beneficial to our clients, so they can get a better understanding of how they are being perceived as well as making sure that they are educating prospective donors on the work they are doing in a way that will make sense to them. After working inside nonprofits for so many years, we understand how hard it is to sustain the level of work needed for nonprofits to carry out their missions, and we strive to not only help them produce better events, but to walk the walk of a donor and support them financially as well.
